Our projects are made entirely possible through generous donations from people like you! We will do our best to direct any money towards the project of your choice. If a project is not specified, then the donation will go to the area of greatest need.
Rathana, born in 1979 in Roluos village, Kratie Province, grew up in hardship during Cambodia’s most difficult times. Amid war and poverty, he left home at age 12 to become a monk and pursue education under the guidance of a local monk.
“We studied under trees and huts… education was a privilege, not a right.”
Inspired by his past and decades of humanitarian work (since 2008), Rathana met Dr. Phil Caldwell of The Savong Foundation Cambodia in 2016. Together, they established LFOC to give underprivileged youth what Rathana never had—opportunity and hope.
